Dickson Azalea Park Trails

The Azalea Park, located on Rosegarden Drive in Orlando, Florida, is a natural marvel and historical goldmine. The park consists of flowing water, giving life to the beautiful green vegetation consisting of azaleas and shady trees. The vegetation provides the perfect conditions to hike through the park on a sunny day where you keep cool for the entire hike.

Lake Eola Park

Econlockhatchee Sandhills Conservation Area

The Econlockhatchee River in Orlando, Florida, provides a floodplain swamp area along its banks within a preserve stretching around 1.5 miles. The uplands section of the preserve has unique trails with the bare ground to walk on until you reach the river. The trail’s biggest advantage is the tall trees on either side of the route provide cool shades to sustain a curious hike of the area. 

The total length of all trails through the area is about three miles, with interesting animal sightings at different spots. You will see fence lizards basking, white-tailed deer, and gopher tortoises move around the sections of the preserve. Birds also form part of the important sightings to prepare for when visiting. 

Lake Apopka Loop Trail

The loop trail along Lake Apopka off of South Binion Road has characteristics of a great hiking destination. It is open for hikers and backpackers on foot and bikers working out or enjoying a cool afternoon outdoors. You will occasionally glance at a historic pump house along the route, with spots for a family picnic.
