Ashton gardens

The 55 acres of lush gardens, expansive lawns, and the most significant artificial waterfall in the Western Hemisphere may be found at Thanksgiving Point’s Ashton Gardens.  Visit these private gardens to relax and take in the splendor of nature.  Thanksgiving Point includes a new sculpture garden called I Am The Light Of The World in addition to the 15 themed gardens.  From late March to late October, the gardens are open Monday through Saturday.

Spanish fork river trail

The Spanish Fork River Trail lies near the river’s bottom, where the colors linger longer.  A family photographer in Spanish Fork named claims that “the color gets there around the end of October, which is amazing since in the lower mountains you get the colors like red and the oranges and all the leaves just go golden.” also, photographers suggest parking at the Sports Park, walking the route until you find a gorgeous spot, and then using it for the most accessible access.

Squaw peak overlook

If you know, you understand, Squaw Peak is good for more than simply being the neighborhood hot place for making out.  In the Spring, Summer, and Fall,  this place is fantastic.  Although there is some walking involved, this spot has AMAZING views, so bring a spare pair of shoes.

State Park near Utah Lake

All year long, Utah Lake State Park is a fantastic place!  There is an admission fee of $10 per car, but it is worthwhile!  The water’s reflection at dusk is lovely!

Big Springs Park field

Big Springs Park is an excellent location for photographs in the summer and fall.  It takes a little walking to get to the field from this location, which is just past Vivian Park, so come prepared with comfortable walking shoes.  Additionally, there is no mobile phone coverage in this spot, so I usually advise meeting your photographer at Vivian Park and traveling the whole distance together to avoid getting lost.
